Life Sports to Organize Football Tournament

nagaland football Chizami (Nagaland), Feb 14 : The Life Sports will be organizing a football tournament - Chizami Cup from April 5 - 10, at Chizami Town, Phek district, Nagaland.

The organizing committee of the said that the Chizami Cup is an initiative of Life Sports to "transform the youth and develop professional football at grass root levels in our state by raising support, giving training and providing opportunity to footballers".

It is also claimed that it is set to become one of the biggest district level football tournaments in Nagaland.

It also mentioned that the tournament is open to teams from Nagaland only along with an entry fee of Rs 3000/-.

The tournament will be conducted on group league cum knockout basis and the matches shall be conducted by certified referees. Moreover, the tournament will uphold AIFF rules and regulations.

The total prize money is Rs 1 lakh. The winner will be awarded Rs 50,000/- with running trophy and certificate, runner-up - Rs 25,000/- with certificate, losers of semifinals - Rs 3000 x 2 Teams = Rs 6000/-, losers of quarterfinals - Rs 1000 x 4 Teams = Rs 4000/-, best goalkeeper - Rs 2000/- with memento and certificate, best defender - Rs 2000/- with memento and certificate, best midfielder - Rs 2000/- with memento and certificate, best striker - Rs 2000/- with memento and certificate, highest scorer - Rs 2000/- with memento and certificate and most promising player (MPP) - Rs 5000/- with memento and certificate.
